This website, mabjobs.com, is operated by Madison Avenue Bookkeeping, 40 Railroad Avenue, Montgomery, NY 12549. It exists to list our open positions and to receive applications. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and applicants, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Application information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, resume, cover letter, transcripts, and anything else you include when you apply by email or through a form on this site.
- Technical information: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. This site does not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To review your application, contact you about it, and decide whether to interview or hire you.
- To keep records of our hiring process as required by law.
- To keep the website secure and working.
Who sees it
Your application is seen by the people at Madison Avenue Bookkeeping involved in hiring. We use service providers to run this website and our email (such as our hosting and email providers), and they may process your information on our behalf. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment record. If you are not hired, we keep your application for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings and meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email careers@madisonavebookkeeping.com and we will respond promptly.
Security
This site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and application files are stored on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not include Social Security numbers, bank details, or other sensitive identifiers in an application.
